Welcome to the Bistrot at Villa Nord — a clean, urban, and contemporary dining destination in the heart of Trondheim. Designed with a mood that is warm Nordic in feeling and restrained Parisian in posture, our bistrot offers a sophisticated yet completely unpretentious environment.

Surrounded by a tactile palette of linen, wood, brass, and stone, this is a place built for deep conversations and dinners that linger long into the night. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is always alive and ongoing.

In our kitchen, culinary craft is guided by strict French discipline—utilizing classic stocks, sauces, reductions, and braises—but our ingredients remain proudly Norwegian.

We draw from our "Nordic cellar," a living pantry filled with fresh coastal fish, root vegetables, forest mushrooms, wild berries, and local game. The food communicates through clarity, seasonality, and controlled acidity, all bound together by the comforting richness of butter, cream, and herbs.
